Ventas acquires medical office building portfolio totaling 225,000 square feet

Chicago, IL (December 23, 2010) -Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) ("Ventas") said today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Inc. ("Lillibridge"), has acquired a portfolio of five class "A" medical office buildings totaling 225,000 square feet on the campuses of ThedaCare hospitals in Appleton and Neenah, Wisconsin for a purchase price of $36.7 million. Ventas funded the acquisition with cash on hand.
