Resurgens renews lease at Doctor's Center III on Saint Joseph's campus

ORTHOPAEDIC SPECIALTY CENTER OCCUPIES THREE FLOORS AND 72,000 SQUARE FEET OF ATLANTA MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING OWNED AND MANAGED BY LILLIBRIDGE

CHICAGO and ATLANTA, Feb. 13, 2007 – Resurgens Orthopaedics has signed a 10-year lease extension for its 72,000 square foot Orthopaedic Specialty Center with Chicago-based Lillibridge. The Doctors’ Center Building III is located at 5671 Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Atlanta and is on the campus of Saint Joseph’s Hospital.

“Resurgens has been a large tenant in the Doctors’ Center since 1991, and we just signed a new 10-year lease for our 72,000 square foot space. We are happy with Lillibridge as both a property owner and manager,” says Trish Moore, Regional Director, Resurgens Orthopaedics. “Lillibridge is very responsive and they continue to upgrade all of the properties they own on campus.”

Lillibridge acquired three medical office buildings (MOBs) on the Saint Joseph’s campus with a total of 350,000 square feet in 2000. The Doctors’ Center Buildings I, II, and III connect to the hospital via two underground tunnels, and are connected to each other by a large, skylit atrium which is so unique that it is often used for special events.

“We were happy to acquire these three buildings eight years ago,” says Lillibridge Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Todd W. Lillibridge. “Since that acquisition we have made many capital improvements such as updated interior spaces, mechanical upgrades and a major renovation to the exterior plaza. We are very committed to these properties and to keeping our tenants happy.”

The largest tenant in the buildings is Saint Joseph’s Hospital which has an outpatient center, imaging center, and administrative offices. Saint Joseph’s Hospital is a part of Catholic Health East, and is the only faith-based hospital in Atlanta.

The Doctors’ Center Buildings I, II and III are located in an area of Atlanta called “Pill Hill”. This nickname was given to the area because it is in the Perimeter Business District and is the location for three separate hospitals and a variety of MOBs.
