Open house scheduled for Florida Hospital Medical Pavilion
NEW MOB IN SEBRING FL IS THE FIRST ON HOSPITAL CAMPUS
CHICAGO IL and SEBRING FL, Feb-25, 2009 – On March 3rd from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., physicians in Sebring, Fla. are invited to tour the Florida Hospital Medical Pavilion, a new medical office building (MOB) adjacent to Florida Hospital Sebring. Refreshments will be served and games with prizes are also part of the event.
Chicago-based Lillibridge, one of the nation's largest private healthcare real estate firms, developed the two-story, 40,517 square foot building and is hosting the open house along with two of the building's tenants; Florida Hospital Heartland Women's Wellness Center and the Surgical Center at Sun 'n Lake.
"The Surgical Center at Sun 'N Lake is thrilled to offer our patients a beautiful and outstanding physical environment while receiving care at our state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgical Center," says Kimberly Howse, Sebring ASC Administrator, Earnhart & Associates. The location is optimal for not only our patients, but also our physicians who provide care at both Florida Hospital Heartland Division and the Surgical Center."
Florida Heartland Sebring needed more medical office space on the hospital campus to satisfy increasing healthcare demands in this fast-growing area of the state. Lillibridge was originally awarded the project because of the health system's satisfaction with the jobs that they have done previously, including a development project in Celebration, Fla. The two organizations are also working on other MOB projects.
The design of the MOB complements the existing structures on the Sebring campus, including the hospital's recently expanded south wing. The Florida Hospital Medical Pavilion is located at 4240 Sun 'n Lake Blvd., and has been open since October of 2008.
"We've had a good relationship with Florida Hospital for many years, and we're currently working with them on quite a few projects at their other campuses," says Kerry McCormick, VP of Development at Lillibridge. "We were excited to be named as both the developer and the property manager of the Florida Hospital Medical Pavilion and we're looking forward to welcoming physicians, staff and community members to the open house."
