Lillibridge expands advisory practice
"Lillibridge Advisors" Assists Hospitals and Health Systems with Smart Growth Strategies
CHICAGO, Mar-15 2006 — Healthcare providers are increasingly recognizing the need for specialized expertise to help maximize the performance and strategic value of their real estate assets. Lillibridge, one of the nation's largest private healthcare real estate firms, has responded to this demand by forming Lillibridge Advisors. The new unit has combined the firm's existing Real Estate Advisory and Strategic Services practices to further enhance the menu of integrated real estate solutions for clients.
As part of this initiative, Lillibridge has named Margie McHugh, senior vice president, to head Lillibridge Advisors. Together with Richard Ferraro, vice resident of Lillibridge Advisors, the senior team will draw on their extensive healthcare real estate experience to expand the firm's ability to serve a growing client base. Over the last decade, McHugh, Ferraro and their staff have worked with numerous healthcare providers, including some of the nation's most prominent systems, such as Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, Ascension Health, CHRISTUS Health and Banner Health.
"More hospitals and health systems are calling upon Lillibridge Advisors when developing growth strategies for existing and future facilities," notes McHugh. " Assessing current assets has become a necessary prerequisite when making key portfolio expansion decisions," adds Ferraro.

In her 10 years with Lillibridge, she has brought this expertise to all aspects of the healthcare real estate business, including acquisitions of properties from hospitals, development of new facilities, and ongoing management of properties in the Lillibridge portfolio. Prior to Lillibridge, Ms. McHugh spent 15 years working with hospitals and physicians in the Chicago market.
