Lillibridge begins construction at Florida Hospital Kissimmee

NEW MOB AND OUTPATIENT CENTER IS PART OF HOSPITAL CAMPUS EXPANSION

CHICAGO IL and KISSIMMEE FL, Dec-4, 2008 – Expanded medical services will be available to residents of Kissimmee in a new medical office building (MOB) and outpatient center adjacent to Florida Hospital Kissimmee, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009. Chicago-based Lillibridge, one of the nation's largest private healthcare real estate firms, began construction on a three-story, 85,000 square foot building at 2450 North Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee in early September.

"We're excited to start the construction on this new medical office and outpatient services facility that will greatly enhance the healthcare in this community," says Bill Haupt, Administrator, Florida Hospital Kissimmee. "We selected Lillibridge as our developer for their experience and excellent reputation in healthcare real estate. Throughout this whole process, I have felt like all the way up to the very top of the organization, Lillibridge was completely engaged in this project."

More medical office space was needed on the Kissimmee campus to satisfy increasing healthcare demands in this growing area of the state. Major tenants in the building include an ambulatory surgery center, outpatient imaging center, orthopedic and OB/GYN groups. The building will feature a two-story atrium at the main entrance, two covered walkways to the hospital and surface parking. The outpatient imaging center will have a separate entrance, allowing direct access for patients. There are future plans to build a new patient tower that mirrors the look of the new MOB.

Lillibridge has partnered with Florida Hospital on multiple projects including a completed MOB in Celebration and Sebring, Fla.  The two companies are also working together on several other MOB projects, including East Orlando and Winter Park.

"It's great to do business with an industry leader like Florida Hospital and we're glad that they are happy with the projects we've collaborated on during the past four years," says Lillibridge Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Todd Lillibridge. "It is our goal to continue our excellent working relationship."

The new MOB has physician office space available. Physicians on the Florida Hospital medical staff are encouraged to contact Kerry McCormick at Lillibridge 972-248-9100, extension 4351, or kerry.mccormick@lillibridge.com for information on leasing opportunities.
