Construction Begins on New Cancer Care Center in Decatur, Ill.

LILLIBRIDGE SERVES AS DEVELOPER FOR NEW FACILITY ADJACENT
TO DECATUR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

CHICAGO, October 9, 2008 – Residents of Decatur, Ill. will soon have expanded cancer care services thanks to a group of local oncology physicians, Decatur Memorial Hospital, and Chicago-based Lillibridge.

The new one-story, 55,400 square foot building will be located at 210 W. McKinley Avenue, adjacent to Decatur Memorial Hospital. Designed to enhance patient convenience, the new state-of-the-art facility will bring the latest in technology and sophisticated treatment approaches to the community under one roof.

Lillibridge is serving as the developer for the Cancer Care Center of Decatur and has been working with the physicians and the hospital since mid-2007. The company’s responsibilities have included identifying the total project costs and related project economics, arranging the required permits, retaining services of a local architectural firm, Architectural Expressions, LLP for the building and suite designs, and hiring Otto Baum Company, Inc. as the general contractor.

The facility is scheduled for completion in September 2009. It will house cancer research, radiation oncology, medical oncology, medical imaging and other complementary services. There are many patient-centered features in the building including a landscaped overlook that will serve as beautiful natural scenery for patients undergoing chemotherapy. Two tenants, Cancer Care Specialists of Central Ill. and Decatur Memorial Hospital will be leasing all the available space in the building.
