Lillibridge Building Attracts More Doctors to Florida Hospital Celebration Health
 
Having tapped out its medical office space within the first few years after opening in 1998, Celebration Health teamed with Lillibridge to help it achieve its next phase of growth. Celebration Health selected MMBC, now part of Lillibridge, to develop and manage a four-story medical office building on its campus.
 
"They are working with us to execute our plan," explains Terry Uhran, Celebration Health's administrative director, corporate development. "We give them leads and open doors with some physicians, then Lillibridge manages the relationship after that. They have done a very good job of interfacing with the physicians."
 
Special Attraction
 
Because Celebration Hospital is not located near many residential areas, it turned to Lillibridge to make the new office space especially inviting. The four-story, 78,000 square foot building is designed to accommodate some practices that want a bigger presence on the campus as well as those physicians who would like to design their own space.
 
In addition, the new building houses a fourth floor ambulatory surgery center that is a joint venture between the physicians and hospital. Lillibridge also syndicated ownership of the building among the lessors, which was an added attraction for the participating doctors.
 
Meeting Exacting Standards
 
As part of the hospital's land-use agreement with Disney Corporation, which built the nearby planned community of Celebration, Lillibridge worked with the company's outside architect Robert Stern to ensure the façade of the new MOB met Disney's exacting standards.
 
"The building exceeded our expectations in terms of design, spaciousness and ambiance," says Uhran.
