Carondelet Heart Institute Groundbreaking

Carondelet Health - construction on a new 29,000 sf expansion for Carondelet Heart Institute in Kansas City, MO is expected to commence soon. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on September 30, 2011.

The expansion will double the size of the current facility. Over the past year, the Carondelet Heart Institute has added 12 cardiologists to its team which now consists of 20 physicians, including a cardiovascular surgeon and 104 staff members. A record number of cardiac surgeries and procedures were performed during fiscal year 2011.
